| Ubos Design brought Chance magazine to life early this year.
Chance is a paper that liberates the image in photography and gives
the photographer a platform free from advertising and editorial constraints.
The first edition shows work by a collection of International artists, both known
and unknown with images reflecting the artists take on 'chance'.
Ubos create the paper and select the theme, photographers are invited to submit their work and the paper grows organically. "We aim to produce a journal with enigmatic themes that places 'the image' first. We want readers to have an immediate reaction to the image by pulling out the page they like and pinning it on their wall in the manner of the old picture post review".... The first issue is available at the following leading stores and galleries; agns b, Magma, Claire de Rouen, Tate Modern, ICA, Whitechapel Gallery, Serpentine Gallery, Photographers Gallery, Art Words Shoreditch, Blenheim Books, Notting Hill Gate and also in Japan at the Nadiff gallery Tokyo.
